Gold Coast food service is dominated by outdoor and beachside trading and a strongly seasonal tourism pattern. Both push packaging in the same direction: compact formats a customer can hold standing, on board specified to cope with sun, wind and salt air.
The seasonality also means the cost of running out during a peak is far higher than the cost of carrying extra stock — but humidity limits how long stock can sensibly be held.
Tell us the tray, the quantity and where it is going. Freight is quoted to your address rather than added later.
Light open trays lift off outdoor tables and blow along a beachfront. A heavier board earns its cost here.
Customers are standing, walking, often with a drink. Boats, holders and scoops rather than flat platters.
Ambient moisture affects stored board. Keep stock in cartons in the driest conditioned space available.
Prolonged direct sun fades printed surfaces. It matters for display units rather than single-use trays.
Two constraints pull against each other here. Running out during a peak season is very expensive, which argues for holding plenty of stock. But board held for a long period in a humid coastal environment loses stiffness, which argues for holding less.
The workable compromise is to order for a season rather than a year, store it as dry as possible, rotate strictly, and accept a slightly higher unit price for more frequent ordering if your storage is genuinely poor. We will quote at several quantities so the trade-off is visible.
Chosen against the requirements described above, not as a general catalogue listing.

Compact formats with a defined grip point — boats, holders and scoops. Flat platters do not work for somebody standing with a drink in the other hand.
Enough for the peak but not a full year, because humidity works stored board. Order for a season, store as dry as you can, and rotate strictly.
Over prolonged exposure, yes. It rarely matters on a single-use tray used within minutes, but it does on display and merchandising units that sit out for weeks.
Further than for a domestic supplier, because transit is the long pole. Plan around the season and we will give a realistic transit estimate with the quote.
