About the quoting process
How quickly will I get a quote?
Usually within one working day, Monday to Friday. If your enquiry needs a structural drawing or a material we have to specify from scratch, we will tell you that day and give a realistic date for the full quote.
What does the quote include?
The unit price at your quantity and at least one other, tooling itemised separately if any is needed, the exact board and treatment in writing, the packing format, freight to your address, and a real production date rather than a generic lead-time range.
Do I have to know my exact specification?
No. Tell us the food, the portion and where it is eaten, and we can work backwards to a specification. Half the value of a good brief is telling us what you do know and being clear about what you do not.
Can I send a physical sample instead?
It is the single most useful thing you can send. A tray in the post removes a whole round of questions and lets us verify board caliper and corner construction as well as dimensions. Ask us for the address.
Is there a minimum order?
It varies by format. Simple single-colour folding board starts considerably lower than moulded fibre, which needs a formed tool. Ask for pricing at two or three quantities and the curve will make the sensible commitment obvious.
Will you tell me if I am over-specifying?
Yes. Board graded for weight nobody carries and finishes nobody notices are common, and pointing them out is more useful to both of us than quoting them. The same applies in reverse when a specification will not survive the food.
Can you quote for several formats at once?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper than separate quotes because setup, tooling and freight are shared. Send the full list and we will price it as one project.
What if I need it delivered outside the four countries listed?
Tell us the destination and we will say plainly whether we can serve it well. We supply the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia routinely; other destinations depend on the route and the volume.
