Custom tray builder
Design Your Food Tray
Five short steps that cover the same ground we would on a phone call. At the end you send us a properly detailed brief — which is what makes a first quote accurate rather than approximate.
About this tool
Is this a real dieline generator?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. The preview is a simplified illustration that reacts to your choices — it is not a manufacturing dieline and it is not to scale. What this tool produces is a properly detailed specification brief, which is what makes a first quote accurate.
What happens after I submit?
Your selections arrive with us as a structured brief, along with any artwork you attach. We come back with pricing, any material recommendations we think you should consider, and a real production date — usually within one working day.
What if I do not know the answer to a step?
Every step has a "not sure" option, and choosing it is genuinely fine. Tell us the food and the setting in the notes and we will specify the rest. Half the value of this tool is telling us what you do know.
Do I need to know my exact dimensions?
Approximate is useful; a physical sample is better. If you already buy a tray, post it to us and we will match the internal dimensions exactly, which means your racks, carriers and portioning stay unchanged.
Can I upload artwork here?
Yes — PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, JPG, PNG or ZIP, up to 12 MB. A rough sketch is genuinely useful at this stage. We will supply a dieline before your designer starts on final artwork.
Will I get a price straight away?
Not automatically, and that is deliberate. An instant price on a made-to-order product means either a very wide range or a number that changes once someone looks at it. We quote against your actual specification instead.
How is the price worked out?
Pricing starts from $0.30 per tray and depends on six things: material and board weight, size, printing, tooling, finishing and freight. The quote itemises them rather than giving you a single opaque figure.
Can I use this for a repeat order?
Yes. If we already hold a cutting die for you, say so in the notes and the repeat is faster and cheaper — you pay plates only if the artwork has changed.
